Non stick trimming shears? Yes please!
Full disclosure here, I am a very picky buyer. I research and take my time when selecting a product for the first time! It’s the “trying to make sure I don’t purchase a piece of junk and waste my time and money” factor. I hate returning products, mostly I just don’t, thus the waste of money!Anyhoo….these scissors are the best I have used to trim those this little leaves, they are called sugar leaves by some…😜1. They are very sharp(watch those finger tips!)2. The spring assist is a game changer for hand fatigue. Virtually no hand fatigue, woohoo!!3. Trusted brand in Fiskars!! This company knows how to make things sharp and durable! Going strong after 2 years!4. This should be number one on this list- they really are virtually non-stick! Get 2 pairs and keep one in your jar of alcohol, then when the other one gets to sticky, you’ve got a fresh pair!Overall, these are the best trimming shears I have used!

Small, sharp, & efficient
Used these for my cut garden and for harvesting herbs & veggies. They work very well, and make very clean cuts. I like how small they are, and they are easy to grip. Will be buying more so I don’t have to wash the one pair constantly when I’m out gardening!

These Clippers are OUTSTANDING for Gardening and in the House
I LOVE LOVE LOVE these clippers!! I have never gotten crazy over a review before but I like these seemingly little nothings of a clipper are just so easy to use, so sharp and so versatile; so much that I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have 2 pair and my husband now wants one.I keep one pair with the obvious, my gardening tools, where they are so useful for trimming spent flowers and dead leaves. They are small and compact; the short blades make it easy to reach a specific stem.I keep my second pair in the kitchen where these clippers have come in handy for numerous jobs from cutting and chopping fresh basil to, opening packages, trimming loose threads, trimming houseplants and removing tags from new garments. As you can see these small, sharp, easy to hold and use clippers are a very useful item to have whether for the garden, kitchen or sewing box. I am considering buying a third pair for my sewing machine gear.

Great snips, great warranty, crappy quality control
I’ve bought multiple of these micro-tip snips over the years — coated and non-coated blades. After many snips, the coating starts wearing off (very slowly) on the coated snips. These non-coated blades will never have that issue. Furthermore, if there ever is an issue, Fiskars has a great warranty program which I’ve taken advantage of 3 times thus far.The part I dislike about these scissors is that quality control is all over the place. Sometimes they come screwed too tight or too loose, sometimes the plastic retainer meant to keep the scissors closed has too long a “lip edge” on it that it makes opening the scissors difficult, sometimes the retainer clip only catches when you close the scissors… while most of these things can be fixed, its annoying to have to fix a new product. I wanted to knock a star off for this reason but they’re really the best snips around and furthermore, their warranty really is great. That said, none of those things are issues with the blades, which are the primary workhorses of such a tool. They’re sharp, pointy, and a pleasure to use, especially when new

very sharp and do the job, but lock wear easily
These are very sharp and do the job, which I love. I was disappointed that after only a week, the locking mechanism had already just ‘worn’ down, the sliding lock that goes up and down. The locking piece under the orange slide, is made of plastic, and it completely wore down, so they don’t lock anymore. I keep the guard on them when not in use, which keeps the handles together now. Overall great for the garden, they need to redesign the locking piece.

Good but has a sharp point.
These Nips are just what I expected. Sharp and good quality. A very good product. Just be aware they are pointed at the tip and will draw blood. Next time I’ll get a set with a blunted tip. When you are holding and cutting it’s easy to poke the other hand and when you do, it is like a needle, you will bleed. Obviously this is not on them but it’s on me. But still be aware if you’re clumsy or cutting in tight spaces it may matter. I’ve never owned any kind of cutter that was so sharp on the tip.

Fiskars prunning shears, one of my favorite gardening brands has no problem with stems and leaves
As I’m learning to maintain two large rose bushes, needing small and agile pruning shears was a must. After reading a few home gardening blogs, Fiskars seems to be a winner. Luckily this has proven true for me as the shears were easy to maneuver around the larger thorns, helping to trim all the dead stems I had neglected since last season.

Great scissors if only a couple parts would hold up better.
The scissors are awesome, but the springs will wear out and break far before any other part, and the locking mechanism tends to slide down while you’re using them and then get broken when you close them and become un lockable so they’re open all the time.

Fiskars Pruning Snip
These are the wonderful for deadheading plants and flowers. It makes it so easy to trim the spent flowers and stems, particularly when they are clustered together. My daughter-in-law used them while she was helping me in the gardens and with my pots. She ordered a pair as soon as she got home. She loved them. .

Absolutely love these!I’m an etsy shop owner and always crafting but I have tiny baby hands so usually scissors aren’t comfy for me. But these are awesome! So sharp and precise! I also love the blade cover so my mom brain can relax a bit better with the safety locks in mind! 10/10

Very comfortable shears
have been using these as my go to daily shears…didn’t realize they were pruning shears until I had to re-order another pair! It fits very comfortably in my hand and the locking “switch” is a simple click. I have arthritis in my fingers and these shears help so much!

Questionable quality.
Got the two snips, one is fine, the other has nicks on the blade. And the action is a little stiff, the spring is plenty strong, but they sometimes don’t want to open back up. I have some ac infinite snips, they’re much better.

Very sharp and so very, very useful!
We use these for pruning garden plants and picking fruit without damaging the plant. My son and I both carry these pruners while working in the garden. I suggest some kind of heavy sheath for carrying them since the tip is so sharp. With an appropriate sheath, you don’t really need to lock them between uses. Warning! Putting them in a pocket can be very painful. As others say, the lock is plastic and even if it doesn’t break, locking and unlocking gets to be frustrating after a while.I also have the smaller size that most people seem to use on fabric and crafting that I bought for snipping threads when sewing. I now keep a pair in a kitchen drawer and use them most every day for opening packets, taking the plastic safety guard off the top of bottles and to open the seemingly endless number of medications that now have to be sold in blister packs. I have arthritis in my hands and opening one of those is next to impossible. They are also handy for cutting those irritating carriers from 6 packs of soda and other beverages. I can never get all 6 bottles out of the pack without resorting to scissors. A bonus, the bright orange handles make them easy to identify in the drawer.

Poor quality from previously excellent Fiskars
I have owned this product many times and my recent order of these snips was not like the others I have owned in the past. The closure devices came off almost immediately and can’t seem to be successfully reinstalled. Previously (the last 40 years or so) when a customer had an issue with a Fiskars product all they had to do was call to get a CS rep on the phone right away. An explanation of the issue usually resulted in getting sent a replacement with no further questions asked. In the new Fiskars world there is no one to speak with-you are asked to send in photos of your issue and your return message is that it is going to take a long time (a month or more) for them to get back to you. In reading one star reviews of different Fiskars products I can see that even that time frame is not being respected and people aren’t hearing back at all. So this was the last Fiskars purchase I will ever make, I do not reward companies that don’t respect their customers, and the opposite is true-I go out of my way to make purchases from companies who show they want my business.Five weeks after they received my request for a replacement I got a message asking for the information I had already sent. I refused to repeat myself and heard back that now they needed only one piece of info and if I sent it I could get a replacement. I did so and I expect a replacement, but I need much more repsonsive service than what was offered to want to buy from them again. One more previously excellent customer-focused company has had a disastrous remake-if I were you I would stay away.

I Didn’t Really Realize how Much I Needed These
I bought this pair and didn’t realize that I would almost never again walk out into my garden without them. These things are sharp and precise and an absolute necessity in the garden. I have actually given a couple of pairs to friends and neighbors when they were admiring how nice they are and I will definitely always own a set of these. Highly recommended and will definitely buy them again.

Once you own one, you always need one!
I am a serious succulent gardener, I’ve collected the since the mid 70’s. When I got my first tiny pruner, I was thrilled. I’m 20 years into owning tiny pruners, this is my third pair(sometimes I do bad things with them). The minute mine act like they’re toast, I order new.Alway Fisgars. They’re reliable

Precise and Sharp
I love these so much that I bought each of my adult daughters ones as stocking stuffers. One star removed because the locking orange piece fell off immediately and I could not get it to stay on thereafter. So now they are in a constant open position. Fortunately I can store them in my potting shed basket where they shouldn’t be a danger to anyone accidentally.

Very shape but a bit cheap
We’re in the garden a lot during the growing season deadheading, pruning, etc. I always have a pair of snips in my pocket. The last pair I had had lived a good life but they needed replaced. I got these to replace the old ones. These little guys are sharp which is a good thing. But the plastic latch that holds them closed is really cheap. In fact after a couple days use, one of the latches broke off. Super disappointed considering I always have a pair with me. Now the rubber cap they came with holds them closed, but I have to be careful not to lose it.

Very handy!
I’ve been gardening practically forever, but I’ve never had a pair of snips like these. They spring back open so they really help prevent hand fatigue when doing a lot of deadheading. I had just always used the thumb & finger pinch, or plain old scissors. But boy oh boy, these little gems are awesome! So much handier than I ever imagined!

Love them
These are the sturdiest and sharpest small pruners I’ve ever owned. It is still difficult to trim the very big rose bush branches, you’ll need to go up a size. But for all of your flowers and small branches you’ll be very happy. Nice to have a nose cover too.

Metal torn off and rusted
When I first got these Fiskars pruning shears 7 months ago, I thought they were great. They were sharp and cut well. The only thing I did not like was that it was hard to lock and unlock the shears. Last week I pruned some plants, and when I was done I noticed that thin pieces of the metal tore off in two places on the shears. Over the next several days, rust set in. Fiskars has a lifetime warranty for their products, so I filed a claim and they are sending me a replacement. I am glad that Fiskars stands behind their products, still this should not have happened.
