Kills Tough Weeds
Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S controls unwanted weeds in your lawn like Dollarweed, Clover & other common lawn weeds. Only for use on St. Augustine grass (including Floratam), Centipede, Zoysia, and Carpetgrass lawns.
Easy to Use
Apply with a Scotts spreader. Best to apply when grass is dry, but must be watered in immediately after application. See product label for complete instructions.

Kills weeds without a doubt
Within three weeks of applying this, all of my clover and other weeds were graveyard dead. This did not kill the grass. Applied it in early March in North Carolina. It made the grass much greener as well.

This stuff wo4ks
I put it down on my Backyard in December because it is full of stickersand goatheads.. Honestly my backyard is just weeds. I live in texas and its February. Most of the grass is green. My whole backyard is brown. That tells me my weeds are gone at least for now. I know the thorns out there will have to decompose b4 i see any real refief but I am quite happy. Soon my dog wont be getting stickers in his feet.

Killed one or two weeds
It helped by killing a couple weeds in my yard…but so many still left…did not kill crab grass, dollar weed or weed witht he common name “sticky plant.” I really hate placing poison in the grass and did this begrudgingly. Wished it would have done.a better job.

Do Not Use on Bermuda Grass
Like Scotts products, however they could change their labels to where you can see the tiny little sentence next to the last thing in the disclaimers the reads “Do not use on Bermuda grass.” It killed all my grass and half of the weeds within three days.

No effect on weeds (REVISED REVIEW)
Applied 10 days ago and watered per instructions. Have used this product for years on the same St. Augustine lawn. But this time no effect whatsoever on actively growing weeds.REVIEW UPDATEI applied this product to my St. Augustine lawn when weather was still cool. As temperatures warmed I noticed weeds were dying and most are now gone. There are some that were not affected but as Bonus S instructions note, “Southern weed and feed controls dollarweed, clover, dandelion, chickweed, oxalis, henbit, purslane, and more as listed”. Have used this product for many years and in the past it has worked well, but this year I applied it earlier and that appears to have delayed activation of the weed control. The listed weeds are gone and the St. Augustine is growing well.

Very Effective but…
Used this product for years and absolutely works over a few weeks following application. However, the bag I recently ordered was extremely clumped and very difficult to use in spreader. Clumps ranged from golf ball to softball in size and has taken a lot longer time to break up. I should have returned the bag as it was essentially useless had I not taken the time to break up large clumps taking up 50% of the bag volume.

Does Scott’s Weed and Feed Still Kill Weeds?
We have applied this product twice, the first time on the whole lawn and the second only on the weeds. A few of the weeds look a little less hardy and the grass is coming back beautifully, but the weeds are definitely not gone. My husband put me in charge of the lawn, since I am on it many times a day with our little dog, and I am definitely disappointed in this product’s ability to extinguish the weeds.

perfect amount for a mid sized back yard
I had a lot of dollar weed and assorted other stuff choaking out my st augustine in early spring in central Louisiana – perfect amount for my residential back yard – one application – note the dollar weed died last after about 10 days but it is all gone now. I spread it 2 days before a thunder storm. And $2 cheaper to my door than on the shelf at my local store.
