Product Description
Infrared Benefits
Infrared heaters produce heat that is similar to the heat produced by the sun. The infrared rays emitted are easily absorbed by the items in your home, which gently increases the temperature of their surroundings. As cool surfaces heat up, infrared heaters raise the ambient temperature of the room. Besides warming up your home, infrared heaters provide many other benefits.
The Latest Carbon Technology
- 93% heat efficiency, energy saving
- Infrared medium wave, infrared energy is easily absorbed by the human body
- Instant heat within SECONDS
- Ultra-low glare
More Benefits
Infrared Heaters Work Instantly
Most heaters work through convection, gradually heating the surrounding air and letting it circulate until it’s permeated the entire room, but infrared heaters emit a precise beam of heat that warms you directly by throwing out a steady stream of heat particles. With infrared heaters, you don’t have to wait to warm up when you step in from the cold, like with ordinary heaters. You warm up rapidly, with fast acting heat rays that dispel the cold. They’re also great if you’re sitting on the couch or at your desk because their heat is focused on you and not the entire room.
Silent, Gentle & Healthy
Infrared space heaters work silently since they don’t use a fan – they just radiate light! They’re great for noise-sensitive environments such as bedrooms.
Hot coils are wrapped over the heat source so heat is transferred evenly. The heat is reflected by a polished metal so it extends out for several yards, creating a gentle, comfortable source of warmth.
Minimal Maintenance
The maintenance for infrared heaters is extremely minimal. Since there are no moving parts, there’s no motor to wear out, air filters to replace or lubrication required. All you have to do is periodically clean the reflectors to keep your unit working perfectly.

Weather Proof
Whether its snow, rain or hail the Briza heater will always stand up to the elements. With a protective metal shielding no water or moisture will be able to effect the function of the heater.
Infrared Technology
Instead of warming the air like other conventional heaters, infrared heaters heat objects directly in their paths. Heating the air wastes energy and the benefits of the heat aren’t felt immediately. The rays produced by infrared heaters penetrate and warm you beneath the skin.
Safety Features
With the automatic shutoff sensor the heater will automatically turn off if it ever senses that the unit has tipped over
Remote Control
All heaters come with a remote control so you can control the power, heat level and timer from anywhere in the room or outdoor space.

The best heater
I usually don’t comment on items that I have purchased. But, I need to reply on this one. First, it arrived so quickly and just in time for the cold weather that Texas rarely gets. We have purchased several fire pits for camping. But I believe this is our favorite heater ever. We have told many friends about this heater. Thanks for making a great product. I give it more than 5 stars *********

Nice edition to our patio!!
So far I’m pleased. Easy to assemble. Very sturdy and heats up quickly. The remote works well. The only suggestion I have is the leg caps need to have a tighter fit to prevent them from falling off. But a dab of glue will easily secure them.

Add a little warmth to your life
I live just above 3000′ level. We get snow and ice about 5-6 months out the year. Try painting something out in the shop while it’s 10 degrees outside! I bought this to warm the shop or unoccupied home while I paint. It works wonderfully to warm up large spaces to allow paints and stains to cure. Compact for ease of transportation. Large, spread of tripod legs for stability against tipover. Temperatures were warming up. Had a day set aside to help daughter sell girl scout cookies outside. Temperatures dropped to 34 that day! We were cozy under our patio heater!

They work as advertised!
We bought 2 lamps as we tried to protect a couple of sago palms planted in containers on our front porch from last month’s extreme cold. The fronds all died but we hope the plants have survived and will bloom new growth in the spring. The lamps worked well but the extreme cold and wind overwhelmed their heating capacity. We will use for backyard heating in the future.

Eh
I got this to heat up my garage so my friends and I could smoke cigars in the garage in the winter. First time I tried to fire it up with the garage door open and that didn’t work whatsoever. I thought maybe it wasn’t fair because its a fairly small unit and it is probably about 40 in there. It is a 2 car garage for reference. The next time I left it on for 2 hours before going out and when we got out there it still wasn’t any warmer. The only time you can really feel warmth from it is if you are standing within 3 feet from it. Might work better if its inside and not quite as chilly out, but did not really serve the purpose I got it for.

Doesn’t provide enough heat for the money.
I have a cheap heat dish from Costco and a natural gas fire bowl from Outland. I ordered this unit to supplement my other heat sources for an outdoor covered deck. Of course, the fire bowl puts out significantly more heat, but I was surprised that the cheap Presto heat dish outperforms this Briza heater. Maybe if I were able to directly attach it to my deck roof, I would have better luck, but as it is, it only heats the space of one person – or at the most, two if they are sitting close together. Also, although the tripod looks sturdy, in actuality it needs to be set far from human interaction so as not to risk a topple. The heater-with-tripod is definitely top-heavy.All in all, I feel my money would have been better spent purchasing a natural gas patio column, or even one or more additional cheap heat dishes.

Generates sufficient heat
The infrared patio heater is exactly that. Infrared and does not have an exhaust fan. It is perfect for outdoors as it generates enough heat for my wife to stay warm on those chilly evenings. The heater sits on its sturdy adjustable tripod approximately 3′ – 4′ away from were she seats and she cranks it to L3. If my wife is pleased then you will be to.

One person could assemble on tripod
I’ve only used it once on the tripod, and I didn’t try to install it on wall or ceiling. It puts out decent heat on my screened porch. I’m hoping it extends my outdoor season by a month or so.

Great customer service!
Great customer service!Heater works well, Just as described. I’m writing this review because the service was amazing. The remote didn’t seem to work which turned out to be because the heater has to be oriented one way. Amazon customer service called me within a minute, and had Briza on the line within another minute. They were both very helpful and within 10 minutes the problem was solved. Amazing personal service from both!

Better then expected!
This product exceeded my expectations. The assembly was super easy and the heat it generated is fantastic! I love that the heater is electric and mobile. The heater comes with a remote so I turned it on prior to coming outside. I did not want a heater that was dependent on a gas source. The tripod is sturdy and easy to adjust the height and angle. I strongly recommend if you are looking for a portable electric outdoor heater.

Great for garage use during winter
I bought this for use in my garage so I could mod my car over the winter. Worked perfectly even when temperatures were freezing. Mind you, I had it setup by the engine bay so at the opposite end of the garage it still remained a bit cold. Now my partner uses it to heat up her yoga space in combination with a fireplace heater insert.

It works as described
We used it to provide heat while eating in an unheated sunroom, and patio. I worked well. One has to be careful as the electrical power at the highest setting requires a heavy duty extension cord if one is used. It was easy to assemble.

Heat is weak for outdoors
I wanted to use this outdoors, to keep 2 sitting people warm in 45-55 degree temperatures. Maybe that expectation was a physics impossibility but I found even with max setting 1 person had to be at most 2 feet away to be warm. The heater could also only be positioned at three angles so it was hard to direct at the right height. Remote did not have great range however that was not a big deal as one had to be close to the heater anyway.

Beautifully packaged, easy to operate
I never write reviews but I was completely impressed with how well packaged and protected everything was when it arrived. I’m used to seeing that level of professionalism and forethought nowadays, especially when not made in the USA. Easy to operate, does as advertised. The only improvement might be a more robust user’s manual explaining that the extra screws and additional brackets must be for wall mounting.

It does NOT maintain a temperature!
I bought this because the description said it has temperature control. It does not. It just has 3 power levels. The “temperature” setting on the remote sand as described in the manual, imply toggles between power levels 1, 2 and 3. Do NOT buy this if you are trying to maintain a specific interior temperature. The unit is only on or off. Otherwise its fine.

Heats well but can’t mount
It does give great heat—but we want it ceiling mounted where our old heater was and it won’t let you—it’s gives an error that it doesn’t like the angle. So have to send it back to get a different one we can mount at an angle like the last ones we had. Boo

Attractive and functional electric heater
The heater is exceptionally easy to put together, packaged very well. Tripod is steady and easy to adjust. A few things to note: **The only way to operate the heater is via the remote control – This is a real downside – there should always be at least an on/off switch on the main unit. ** I apologize for the previous statement – it is not correct! After seeing other comments that stated there is a switch on the main unit – I looked again and sure enough there is a push button control switch on the main unit. The heat output was really insufficient for outdoor patio use on a cool night – defining cool as around 50 degrees. Still had to wear a coat. One other thing – I had the unit plugged into a 15amp circuit and it blew the breaker – granted that there were some other things on that circuit but only some lights. Probably best on a dedicated 15/20 amp circuit.

Works good
We use this outside on our deck. You don’t have to sit right by it, but you do have to be close to get good heat when it’s in the 40’s and 50’s. The first one broke, the glass heating tube blew apart. We were able to return it because we only had it a few days. We have had the replacement since October 2021. It’s now February 2022 and it’s still holding up. If you keep it on the stand, it’s a little too heavy. Be careful when moving it around. I do recommend buying the protection plan when you purchase this in case the heating tube blows up after a while.

Slightly overpriced but convenient
We got this heater to entertain in the garage with the door open during the winter. It definitely serves it’s purpose, but the reach of the heat isn’t that far. If you are standing within a foot of the heater, you will warmed to a satisfactory temperature. Any further than that, the warmed air will not reach you. This is slightly disappointing considering the high price of the heater. Although, the convenience of being able to plug it in is very useful. The heater doesn’t take long to warm up, making a last minute setup perfectly doable. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the assembly was. It takes maybe five minutes maximum. This heater does take up a lot of electricity, though. If multiple things are plugged into the same outlet, the circuit often overloads. Overall, I would say this is a good heater and I’d recommend it.

What’s worse, it is not possible to use the unit at all without the remote. If you lose it, you’re basically out of luck.

Good to augment, but not standalone
Look, my expectations were it is no propane tower heater, but could keep a couple of people close by warm. That is exactly what it is. I have a propane fire pit and propane tower heater. They are great, but not cheap to run. I have 8 chairs set up around fire pit. I put the electric on the stand on the diagonal corner opposite the propane heater.Since wine drinking with friends is outside, we spend a lot of time out there. When I added this to the set up it was about perfect. Before if you were on the opposite diagonal of the propane heater it was cold.If you buy only this and think you are getting propane hearing tower performance you will be disappointed. If you’ve use this to augment another source of heat or buy 2-3 of these you might be happier. For me it did the job I needed it to do. I recommend it.

Works by infrared heat, meaning it heats things with moister, not so much just the air in the room.
Was a great rescue from my heat pump going out in January and not being able to replace it for more than 2 months. Electric bill was back down to early summer rates supplementing with this. Keep in mind, you need to be within the range of heat waves, probably not to effective for more then 2-3 people if really cold.Does what it says, been 4 months now no issues. As it seems to work on things that have moister, beware of having plants in line of heat, it will “cook” them over time. will transfer out to patio soon. A good purchase.

Quality Heater
Have had this since Feb 21. It has been used both inside and outside. The heat it provides is fantastic even on level 1. The remote makes it even better however our remote has stopped working properly after just two years. I suppose being made in China I should expect that but it’s frustrating because for $250 I expected more and without the full use of the remote it is not near as useful as it was.

Appreciated Customer Support
I had purchased the Briza Infrared Patio Heater for a outdoor “Covid friendly” Thanksgiving. Assembly was simple. Unfortunately, I’m the type of guy that, if there are two ways to assemble, I will do it backwards. When I assembled I received a code that made no sense and the remote did not work. Briza was on a “covid shutdown” and suggested I leave a voice message and / or send an email. I did both and sat down with a sinking feeling. Within five minutes I received an email and after answering a few questions, it was suggested I installed the lamp upside down! Took three minutes to correct! The unit worked well. One was warmed sitting in front of the lamp. Liked the safety devices, a simple jar and you needed to reset the unit. Not a problem with kids running around.

After a year of use. This is what to expect after 1 year. Wow. 1 year anniversary. I am so happy that I got a year of use out of this heater because it is awesome! Very simple, easy to setup and use
This is a solid, infrared heater that gives us a bit of warmth on a cooler evening sitting on our patio. It comes as 2 parts – the heater and the stand. Attach the heater unit to the stand. Set it where you want it. Plug it in. Turn it on. 1,500 watts – puts out some pretty good heat. Can also be mounted on a wall with the included brackets. Controls are intuitive. Very happy with it.

Lightweight but Powerful Heater
Bought two of these so we could continue to gather outside on our roof deck as it got colder during the pandemic with our two adult daughters. So glad I purchased them because it allowed our family of five to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas together. I have them mounted on the included tripod which is very stable and allows me to easily move the heater around and position it for maximum warmth, unlike the heavy, bulky propane heaters that we’ve had in the past. Heats up immediately and I feel safe because even a small bump will activate the safety feature and turn itself off. My only wish is that they offered covers for them. We live near the ocean and after just a month, parts are already rusting and I’ve had to configure a chair cover to try and protect them.

So far it’s good
I bought this in the summer for use later in the year. I assembled it and turned it on just to make sure it was working okay, which it was. Assembly is easy if you mount it on the tripod. Controls are simple and easy to use. It wasn’t quite as much heat as I was expecting, but I’m thinking it will do the job for me as an outdoor patio localized heater (I live in the southeastern part of the USA).

Great Portable Heater
This heater does a great job warming up the garage. it uses a lot of electricity, but that is to be expected. It’s worth it to have a warm garage when we are out there. I wouldn’t want to use it to heat the entire garage. We use it in the area where we are working, and it is perfect.

Remote Control stopped working, first intermittently and now doesn’t work at all
The heater has been great for what we needed, under an outdoor gazebo in So Cal. However, the remote has worked intermittently, the touch pads never really functioned well but we were able to make due by jiggling the remote. Unfortunately, it’s now not working at all, which also means we’re unable to use the heater because the remote is the only means to turn the heater on and control the functions.

Good quality procuct
This product appears well designed, sturdy and well made of quality materials. It is easy to assemble and to adjust its height. It is not too heavy so easy to move but sturdy enough on its stand that it won’t get blown over. It is also designed to be permanently attached to the outside of a house in an appropriate location. It works well and has a remote control but unfortunately its range of effectiveness outside drops off if you are more than 4 to 6 feet away from it.

Good quality, strong heat, simple
I’ve had a few of these style heaters for our back deck in south florida, but they all died out quickly and even one of them shocked me on the first use (OTHERS). This one is well made, looks good, and has been a solid daily user when it’s chilly out back. It’s the first time I’ve been impressed with one of these types of heaters because they’re usually too small or so cheaply made they work 3 months and then go kaput. This is definitely one I’d recommend, and it works very well. I like the simple remote, however I do wish it was a little more substantial (easy to break). Overall, this is a great patio heater for just a few people when it’s chilly outside.

Excellent heater, easy to assemble and use.
I received mine yesterday only two days after ordering it. Assembling it on the tripod ( I didn’t wall mount it) was very quick and easy and it worked perfectly on my first try, quickly generating a generous amount of heat and quickly cooling down when I turned it off. I’m looking forward to enjoying my outdoor terrace this winter, which I haven’t been able to do previously.

Works Great – Small Hardware Issue.
I ended up putting a shed roof over my patio. The ceiling height is about 9ft on one side and 11ft on the other (roof slants from top of house towards the back yard). I mounted them on each side of the ceiling. These heaters act like the sun… if you are sitting still anywhere in front of the heat lamp you will feel it. Obviously the closer to it the warmer you are. I’d say it’s good for about a 10ft distance on high power. One issue: on one lamp the fly nuts did not work properly when hanging. Did not tighten well… they came loose. Had to go to Home Depot to replace the two fly nuts.

Portable and easy to use. I’m about to order a second one! I use this in my bathroom and garage for hot yoga, my animals also love sitting in front of it for the infrared heat. Love that I can just sit in front of it without heating up (really warm) the whole house. I tend to get more cold than my husband, so this is one of my favorite winter “treats”. Big difference between a regular space heater and the infrared. Highly recommend!

Disappointing
I had great expectations for this style heater. I have a small unheated garage and three seasons of the year I am able to use it as a makeshift exercise room. Winters are tough, though. I live in Southern New England so from December to around the beginning of April the garage can be so cold it makes it uncomfortable to use for an hour-long exercise session. I was hoping this heater would remedy that by heating the garage to at least 55-60F, a temperature that is comfortable when the body is moving and circulation enhanced.I’ve used it on cold days six times trying to problem-solve a solution that would help raise the ambient temperature. The best I can get is five degrees more, something that is unacceptable when the temperature in the garage starts at 40F. First I tried the highest setting, L3 for two hours. The thermometer hardly budged more than 2 degrees. Next, I raised the tripod setting to its highest and pointed the face of the heater down. Same result. Then I decided to preheat the garage for two hours before using it. Same result. I went back and re-read the instructions thinking I might be missing something and also checked a few YouTube to see if they provided any insight. The only thing I could find different was understanding that the radiant heat has to heat objects in a room and those objects, in turn, heat the air. So I lowered the tripod settings as far down as it would go and pointed the heater at the cement floor hoping it would absorb heat and then that would rise inside the garage. I turned it on and left it for 4 hours. When I came back the heat had risen only 5 degrees, still inadequate to heat the garage to a comfortable 55-60F.The best I can determine is this heater works only in very small enclosed spaces and when pointed at the user, warms him/her with radiant heat, but if they move from a direct line of sight it suddenly goes cold. So if you are reading a book or tying flies at a bench, this would be great, but then why would I do those things in an unheated garage [rhetorical, the answer is self-evident]. Frankly, I am greatly disappointed.

I bought this heater for my wife who likes to sit in our screened in enclosed sunroom even when the weather drops. We’re located in Central Jersey. So far it’s been keeping her warm. She’s been using it in the 35+ degree temperature on level 2. She hasn’t used it on level 3 yet.

Not enough heat for our patio
I think this works best in some kind of enclosure, such as a gazebo. It was only able to warm us at about a 3′ -4′ max range on our patio. The product seems to be of high quality and the tripod is very sturdy. I didn’t measure it, but I’m not sure it was drawing the full 1500 watts, but there is really no adjustment (just L1, L2 and L3). I kept waiting for it to get hot, but it never really did.

Good for NC Winter?
We built a screened porch this spring and we use it just about every night. Of course, it’s a 3-season room. I wanted to make it all 4 seasons, so I researched heaters, read reviews and talked to hubby (EE). I didn’t want to spend $5K on a wall-mounted one that needed 220, so we agreed this was the best choice based on his tech and my review-reading. It set up in about 30 seconds and we adhere to the “unplug it when it’s not in use” recommendation. The porch is about 12×14 and if I point the heater right, I can read outside when it’s at least 40-degrees in the real world. (It reorients very easily.) The heater doesn’t warm the entire area; but it works fine to heat the bodies sitting at the table. (One of which is me, which is why it matters.) I don’t know how this would do in a very cold climate but I’m happy that it handles the Southern winter. Arrived on time, excellent packaging. Recommended depending on your climate.

Easy to use. Electrician hung for me in a few moments.
Very easy to use compared with propane models. Easy to use on tripod (but hang on wall if you have kids). What’s not to like: instructions were easy for electrician to follow (not as much me due to tiny print). If you hang the light, the tripod is destined for the trash. Would be better if the company offered a heatlamp alone (and parts to use the tripod).Service emails very responsive and helpful, much better than most companies. However, I had to contact Amazon to get a name/email for the company that can service. Should be on the manual!

We should have bought this heater long ago.
So far this heater seems well made, though only time will tell. My husband loves sitting outdoors enjoying the view but it’s too chilly much of the year. This heater should extend his outdoor season considerably.

Nice heater
Nice heater. Good for weather in the 50s

Good secondary heater
It puts out good heat if you’re right next to it. We use as a secondary heater for the chairs that are furthest away from our stand alone propane heater

No Heat
Extremely disappointing. I was hoping to heat a small sun room for use In the cooler seasons. On high, when your hand is right next to it you can feel some ambient heat. But even after three hours on full-blast, the temperature didn’t even budge a degree (and my thermometer is five feet above the floor in a six-and-a-half foot room).

Just what I needed.
This worked great. I needed a heater for my porch for my outside feral cats. They LOVE it and it kept them warm and cozy in temps down to 25. Helps me to sleep at night, knowing they are warm. Love the remote as well. I can turn it on and off without having to go outside. Just don’t hang it to high. Mine is half way up the wall to warm the ground.

Great heat even on lower setting
Nice amount of heat even on the low setting. Nice that I won’t have to use it at 1500W most of the time. Remote seems kind of quirky. Haven’t quite figured it out yet. Instructions just identify what the buttons are and not how to use it.

Sturdy heater works as advertised
Took less than 10 minutes to assemble and was at use immediately. Wife is always cold and this takes care of that with no sound.

Would buy again
The only thing I didn’t like about this heater is the neck does not seem to tilt. It would be great if you could stand it above seating dining level and tip the heater downward. It puts out a great amount of heat and would buy again.

Mediocre performance for a lot of KWh
The device arrived very well packaged, and is easy to assemble, for that it gets 3 stars. However, the heat one gets is poor, unless one sits within 3-4 feet away. The main surprise (i suppose it should be a surprise) is the electric usage which goes through the roof if you use the heater for more than a couple of hours. Of course, the bill tracks the consumption, with substantial increases in price if you are billed in a tiered pricing system. For that it does not get more than 3 stars.
