Product Description

The Fiskars 39″ 4-Claw Stand Up Weeder makes it easy to permanently remove invasive plants without costly chemical herbicides that need to be applied multiple times. The long, sturdy, lightweight aluminum shaft helps to prevent sore knees from kneeling, or back aches from bending. Just place the head over a weed, step down on the reinforced foot platform, and the four serrated, stainless-steel claws will grab the weed by the root for clean removal. An offset hand reduces wrist strain, a viewing window in the pedal makes claw placement mistake-free, and an easy-eject mechanism clears the head between uses for quick and easy cleanup. The reinforced foot platform is 30% stronger so you can step down confidently to penetrate tough soil. Make weed removal easy, and fun, by simply positioning the tool over the weed, stepping down on the foot to drive the claws into the ground, pulling back on the handle to grab the weed, then lifting the tool to eject the pulled weed. Designed to help you transform the backyard, Fiskars lawn, and gardening tools are equipped with smart technologies and award-winning, ergonomic features that make it easier and more enjoyable to perform your own lawn care. From pruning shears, lawn mowers, weeding tools, and tree trimmers, we take a holistic approach to develop garden tools that reflect hours of immersive study, research, and validation, resulting in gardening supplies that outperform the competition and feel like a natural extension of your body.

    Better Than Expected

I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw that most of the tool was made from plastic. The claws are steel but the foot lever is plastic. I just used it in my asparagus bed for about 2 hours on dandelions. It worked great. I tried it yesterday when it arrived on harder ground and it did not work too well. But it rained last night and it did a very good job in the asparagus bed, after the rain. It may have worked there before the rain since the dirt is much looser than where I tried it yesterday. It allowed me to remove the dandelions without disturbing the asparagus roots/crowns. There were some that the tip of the root broke off but overall it did a great job. I do not like to use herbicides and the dandelions were thriving. I am giving this 5 stars because it made an impossible job possible. I think it is a bit over priced for a tool that is mainly plastic but I have bought several Fiskars tools in the past and they have all lasted a long time. So I am going to assume they know what they are doing. The strawberry bed is next!

    Pulls out maple saplings

I initially bought this tool to pull out all sorts of plants with roots. The tool is sturdy (I like all my Fiskar yard and wood tools) it is designed well and works easily and mostly gets a good portion of the root below ground. I was very happy with it.However we also have a lot of maple saplings in our yard and when you forget to pull them out within a year, they grow quite quickly. After about 2 years it becomes hard to pull them out with the root. We then often use a clipper to cut them above ground level. The following year they will grow back and the root has become even stronger. The maple saplings I wanted to pull out grew inside of another bush. There was no good access to properly set the tool, so I positioned the metal grabbers on top of the plant and tilted the tool. This is probably not the proper way to consistently use the tool but it worked amazingly well. Have a look at the pics.

    I never write good reviews…but..

OK, I HATE picking weeds and too often the top pops off and the roots stay in the ground. So I figured I would get this contraption and see if it really works.I was a little worried when the box arrived and it felt like it was empty. This thing is plastic (except for the 4 pronged claw part) and weighs about 2lbs. I waited about 30 minutes after ths sprinklers went off, got the roots nice and soaked and this thing worked great. I gave it 3 stars for sturdiness because this was only day 1. If it lasts for a year without breaking, I will update this review and give it the 5 stars it deserves. You can see from the pictures this thing grabbed all the way down and got the root system too. The rythem of operating this thing took a few tries and it was a little clunky at first. But that was on me and Mr. Jack Daniels..:)Sandy approved!!!

    Best Purchase I’ve ever made

Do you hate weeding! I Do!!!!!! Every year they come back and every year I grudgingly go out and repick those little buggers. However, I purchased this for my husband and I have to say I may have taken it over. I do not hate weeding anymore. It is so easy to use and I do not have to risk getting struck by those prickly weeds anymore. I can pick the week and put it in the trash without physically touching it. I purchased a cheaper version and they work but not like this one. I’m having to purchase a second one for my husband. We let the kids use the cheaper off brand one.

    Great tool

I purchased this weed remover as one tool in my battle to take back a neglected lawn overrun with dandelions, and to a lesser extent, crabgrass. It’s easy to use and allows you to quickly remove weeds without any strain on your back or knees. I’ve found that I can remove about 2-3 cubic feet of weeds per hour (based on how quickly I can fill my wheelbarrow). Ideally you’ll want to use it within a few days of rainfall when the ground is somewhat soft. I think most of the broken tools are a result of people forcing it into dry hard soil, or into rocks below the surface. If you feel resistance don’t force it, just move onto the next weed.

Works exactly as advertised, but better

Since I have a bunch of other Fiskars tools, I expected this to be great quality, and well engineered / designed. But, this weeder worked even better than I had expected.I bought it mainly so I don’t have to bend down or kneel to rip out weeds. It does that but also, the way it is able to get down deep, below the root and squeeze it together and rip out. Wow. It works excellent. Even better then if I was at ground level using my hands, shovel. You can also regulate how much / deep you want to rip out which is great, since some weeds are huge and need a full, deep rip out. But if other weeds are smaller and shallower, just don’t press it down as far and you can “pinch” the top of the weed and and inch or two down.Be aware: this weeder is effective at removing. And in ripping out the weed it will make a pretty sizable hole (divot) that can be so big, that you may need to refill the hole with dirt and re-seed grass seeds.

The Walking Stick That’s A Secret Weapon Against Them There Weeds

I often found myself walking the yard with a mini shovel and knee pads in a constant battle with the lawn invaders. Often enough they’d be like a mouse invading the pantry, they would pop their roots out of the ground and scamper off to another location in the yard. Then I came across a video about the Fiskars weed puller. Now I use it like a cane and the weeds just think I’m out for a stroll. In three or four simple moves, the invader is removed from the lawn and I never had to kneel on the ground. No assembly required. Just take it out of the box and get to work. The boss really liked that part. For some it may be a little pricey but believe me, it’s worth the extra dime.

4 prong weeder. What a great purchase!

Arrived in one piece in a big narrow box. Nothing to put together so ready to use right away. Where I live the winter weeds have been terrible this year so I’d spent a recent afternoon pulling weeds the old fashioned way. It was back breaking and by the time I couldn’t do more, my yard looked like I’d barely touched it. A few days later I see a neighbor using a device on his lawn that is allowing him to pull weeds in no time at all. I thought what the heck? I rushed out to ask him the brand and I immediately ordered this Fiskar weeder. It really is the best practical purchase I’ve made in a long time. In about 1 1/2 hours, I had all the weeds in my front and back yard cleared. Many of them had deep roots and this weeder pulled them up without any effort. If and when more weeds come, I won’t dread them. I’ll just grab my weeder and pull them up as they come because it’s fun to use. I very highly recommend this product!!

    Works better than expected

Wasn’t sure if it would handle crabgrass very well….but it did!! It works so well, don’t think I could live without it. There was no assembly, just took it out of the box and started using it. Very sturdy, don’t feel like it’s going to break on hard to get out weeds. Weeds come out quick and easy. Was able to fill six – 5 gallon buckets in no time! Yard has never look so good!If your on the fence on getting this. I would urge you to. It will become your favorite tool too!

    Best Garden Tool Ever!

A friend recommended this tool. I love this tool! I can stand up and pull weeds, then deposit them in a bag for disposal. It has four blades that cut down to the root when pressed with the foot petal. Then, when you keep your foot on the foot petal it pulls the weed up at an angle, the four blades close around the root and pull it up. It has an ejector arm (used sort of like pumping a shotgun in the old Westerns), when you push that forward, it ejects the weed. Everyone who has weeds needs this, this will revolutionize how we weed! It does not get the weed 100% of the time, but those it doesn’t get, it loosens the soil enough where you can just reach down and pull it up.

    For the nay sayers

I ordered it before I watched some videos on it since it was cheap enough to give it a shot. I felt regret as soon as I watched one video of some guy saying it doesn’t work at all. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I stared yanking out dandelions in my grass. It was pulling out 6-8 inch roots into the ground I never knew existed. Sometimes you might not get a great bite on the root but try repositioning and 1-3 times you’ll definitely remove it. I pulled out half a trash barrel of weeds in the matter of 15 minutes with little effort. Wish I had this years ago

Works pretty well but you still have to bend over

I figured out how to use this device pretty quickly. I bought it hoping to prevent the back pain I experienced last spring when digging up weeds. This device does work. Step down on the plastic bar at the bottom before pushing it to the side and lifting the weed out of the dirt. You can get the weed out of the ground without bending over, but you need to put the extra dirt/lawn back into the hole you just left.

    Oh so helpful!

I’ve used other weed pullers in the past that required you to pull the weed up by grasping a knob at the top and pulling. That action kills my arthritic hands now. This Fiskars tool is so easy: just place over the weed, push down with your foot, rock the puller back using your foot, and pull up. Eject the weed by lightly pushing the lever alongside to release the weed. No stooping or hard hand grasping-so easy, it feels “satisfying” to be able to get the weed out!

    Best weeded…well worth the $$$

I have not been able to kneel since my early 30’s so needless to say I hate the back breaking bending or squatting to do weeding. With this tool I do not mind weeding. The tool pulls out the weed every time by the root. So easy!!! This tool is a game changer for those who are unable to kneel, and squat for a period of time.

    Pulls Weeds – Pour Handle

The only bad part is the handle. There’s not a lot to hold on to and if you have a lot to pull it becomes tiresome. It does what it’s supposed to and saves your back for the most part. It doesn’t always get the root of the plant which is what you want to get so it doesn’t grow back. I’d buy one with a bigger handle to grip on to.

    Sturdy tool that performs well!

I was intrigued with the concept of this weeding tool and have ample weeds with which to test it. Since I’m not as young as I once was it’s harder for me to bend down and dig them by hand. The feature that sold me on this particular model is the handle that ejects the weed from the claw. It works really well! Larger dandelion roots sometimes snap off, but smaller ones pull out intact. Of course it works on other weeds as well. I expect to get a lot of use from this tool.

    Great dandelion extractor!

I’ve used this weed puller for awhile now and it still amazes me that it can get the whole root of the dandelions! You just align it to the center of the weed press down firmly, step on the foot lever and pull towards you slowly. It doesn’t always get the root out which is why I only gave it 4 stars. But it’s easy to use and very satisfying!

    Good, better with some adjustments

I love this thing so much I bought 2 more for my parents and in-laws. It works as described with one annoyance; it pulls a huge chunk of dirt out your lawn. One way I combat this is to not pull the weed out completely. Release the weed after lifting it up 95%. This loosens the surrounding dirt/soil just enough where you can easily remove the weed by hand, leaving the dirt. Yes, this seems like more effort but in my opinion beats hand pulling only, salvinging the dirt attached to the roots, or patching deep holes in the lawn. I found that wet soil makes weed removal easier but it’s almost impossible to salvage the dirt stuck on the roots. I highly recommend this tool.

Easily pulls weeds, roots and all!!

I purchased the Fiskars version after seeing a commercial for another brand and then going to Amazon to do some research. Most weeds in my yard are easy to pull but some are very stubborn so I needed a tool to help. The Fiskars weeder is easy, ergonomic, and very effective. Was able to clear the stubborn weeds and it will be easy and quick to keep up with any new ones that pop up. Great purchase.

    It works great

It’s dramatically better than the other type I tried.I do wish it had a depth setter. There are several places where I don’t need to go so deep to get the weed out, and it pops out a lot of soil when you go full depth. The soil around the claw gets pulled up and leaves holes bigger than needed. If you could set the depth, it would take out so much soil when you pull out.I also wish it was a little longer and that there was something on the ejector thing that let me activate it with my foot.

Better than most, would buy again for a friend.

Best one i’ve used so far. Last year I tried a different one and by comparison this one is 3x better. Effortless in pulling weeds like Dandelions. ***be aware that it did cause me to developed blisters on my fingers after 2 hours of weed pulling. That could just be my soft hands but wear garden gloves to protect yourself. At the end of the day, I would recommend this one over any other. I would buy this again for a friend.

    Dandelions beware!

This thing does a great job of grabbing dandelions (root and all) almost every time. If I had a (minor) complaint, it would be that it grabs a pretty significant plug of sod along with the weed, leaving a hole that needs to be filled.

    Great tool, could be sturdier.

After being shiped a broken one and returned finally got it. This tool works great on dandelions but it probably should be built out of sturdier materials. You just have to be careful not to pull on it like a pry bar or stomp down in a hard spot. It will leave divots in your lawn which might be a deal breaker for some but I figure it’s just more aeration. All things considered, I’m glad I bought it. It’s giving me a fighting chance against the dandelions. Would recommend.

    It works as advertised

This item works as it is supposed to. It will easily pluck out dandelions. I do tend to think that they sprout up faster than I can remove them though. A lot of other type of weeds can be removed just as easily. The only thing I have found difficult is grass runners getting started in the mulch beds.

    nice tool

Bought this when it was on sale. I used it mostly to get rid of dandelions. Good thing about it is you don’t have to bend down. But the problem is that you can not always pull the root out, either hit or miss. I don’t have the quality issue yet like other reviewers complained. Will see how long it will last.

This made weeding my yard incredibly easy. And, it means you don’t have to bend over. You can extract the weed and eject it right into the bucket or wheelbarrow. I never thought I would see the day where I would get excited about weeding my yard.

    Strong Weed Puller

The 3 claw weed puller is very strong and is just what I needed to pull out paspalum especially in dry ground, as I have previously broken three of the 4 claw pullers. The 3 claw puller is not perfect but would be if it had the contoured top and much longer ejection system of the 4 claw puller. Overall I am happy with my purchase and will use the 3 claw puller on tougher weeds and grasses.

Works best when ground is soft

This is rather fun to use and really pulls the weeks out. It does leave a little open plug/hole but that disappears in the rain. The only thing I wish was a bit tighter was the slide for the ejector, sometime when I am just walking with it, that slid will fall down and you have to move it back up so you can see where you are placing the teeth in the ground. Otherwise it is sturdy, easy to use, easy to clean.

Makes picking weeds out of yard super easy, almost too easy!!!

After reading the reviews, I figured I had to give it a try since spray weed killer was not working this year. After a few tries, I got the hang of how to use the tool (I recommend watching the videos), and in an hour, I had a yard leaf bag full of weeds!!! Only downside was I had to move a heavy bag, lol. Can’t recommend this tool enough!!!

    Fantastic!

Pulling up weeds is usually a painful experience. Not with this tool, it has a long handle (no more bending down or crawling around), it pulls the weeds up & out with just a step on the foot paddle, then releases the weed from the claw. I was amazed at how easy it was to do this backbreaking chore. Love it!!!

My husband said this was the best gift he’s ever gotten

I will dabble in yardwork every now and then, but my main solution is to buy some weedkiller and spray it in the yard. My husband wants to save the bees so he will spend HOURS bent over pulling weeds out by hand. I bought this as an attempt to save his back and even though he was hesitant at first, this easily became one of his favorite tools! He says that it’s satisfying to use and saves so much time and backpain.

I just ripped an inch-thick blackberry vine out of the ground and I’m delighted! Blackberries are weeds around here and thorny, so this is a savior. I actually had fun tearing garbage plants out of my yard and it was much faster without the back-breaking work 😄

    So easy to use –

At 80 yrs old, pulling weeds can be a no-no, But this tool is so easy to use. I’ve filled three tall kitchen garbage cans to the brim. That was the first 3 days I used it. This was my second tool. One I had to push down with my foot and turn to get the weed to release from the ground and pull up. It could easily take two people to pull the weed and get it released. This one is SO much easier. The way it slants for you to put your foot on puts just the right amount of pressure to get the week to release.

    Easy weeding tool

I’m 69 and pulling weeds on my knees wasn’t great. Getting up and moving around was tiring. The Fisker works well and efficiently. My only recommendation would be that the make the tool with an adjustable, telescoping handle At 5’10” height I had to bend over to use it and it made my back a bit sore. I eradicated over 600 weeds.

Where have you been all my life

I have always hated weeding. Although, it was gratifying when you had a nice weed free lawn. BUT after receiving this, I find myself going outside looking for weeds. I’m not sure if I’m doing that because I now enjoy weeding or if I’m doing it to see who will win – the weed or the weeder. This has far exceeded my expectation. This really does work like they say it does. You still have to stoop over a bit, but not like pulling by hand. I have really back knees so can kneel, and my back is not so hot either (hey, I’m an old lady) so anything that I can do to clear some of the bigger weeds out of my butterfly garden without using chemicals is a win in my book.

My favorite tool in the garden

I don’t know why I waited until I was 36 to buy one of these so I didn’t have to bend to pick weeds. This thing is amazing and takes a time consuming chore and turns it into a few minutes of walking around. I filled a 5 gallon pail with weeds in about 15 minutes. Would highly recommend!

    Wonderful tool

I debated a long time before ordering this tool- afraid it would be another “gotcha”. However I am so glad I finally made the purchase. It has saved a lot of backache and frustration. I have arthritis in my fingers which makes hand pulling weeds painful. This is a life saver!

    Great product!

I got this yesterday and used it today to get myself familiar with this tool. I was just going to do a few weeds in my front yard but after I was able to get those out easily, I got carried away and started doing my backyard. Next thing you know I have an entire buckle full in less than an hour lolI have back problems and with this I don’t really have to bend over.I’d say about 25-30 percent you’ll pull a weed whose root is super long (reference picture). It’s best if you are able to find the root base, step on the foot handle, tilt the handle forward slightly and then tilt towards the foot handle and pull out the root. Will definitely recommend to friends if they have a weed problem!

    Surprisingly Great Purchase

I’ve watched a number of weed puller videos on the line, they did not necessarily give the Fiskars a top mark in their “dandelion only” review. I have a mixed bag of weeds, from bunch grass, crab grass, lespedeza, clover, bahia, and dandelions in my centipede. I purchased a Grandpa Weeder for a little less locally, and I like how it works for bunch grass, but this weeder works better for just about ever weed I’ve attached with it, specifically those with a tap root. It leaves less a smaller hole than the Grandpa’s, and less dirt on the weed. It can also take a smaller weed and more successfully remove it than the Grandpa’s style. It’s also easy to clean, I don’t even slide the ejector down, I just rack it up and down a couple times to eject the weed, cleans perfectly. You’ll find this weeder is exactly what you need IMO.

    Worked well until it snapped

I’m hoping they’ll replace it under warranty but it snapped after 2 weeks of heavy use on a particularly gnarly weed. I would be willing to pay slightly more for one with the same design but a leverage mechanism that is metal. Great tool but not sturdy enough.

    Great for minimizing bending over

I’ve used this a few times since I purchased it – and it works great at pulling up the dandelions, including the tap root. It is very easy to use. There is a small hole left behind, but for me, it is better than having a dandelion in that spot. I’m assuming with some rain and time the little holes will close up. I suppose if you are striving for lawn beautiful you can fill the little holes with some topsoil (though I think you would need to bend over for that and avoiding bending over was the whole point of getting this tool). It is very satisfying to be able to remove the weed without having to bend over as you would with one of those little hand-held weeders. I keep a 5 gallon bucket near by and eject the weeds into the bucket using the “shot-gun style” sliding ejector on the long stemmed handle. When using, remember to center the prongs on the center of the weed, which is not necessarily where the flower is.

It works great, not sure about the shipping technique.

We received the product as the photo shows, I can only imagine the fun and jokes the various shipping folks had as that product rolled through the shipping line. i.e. Trying to pull Excalibur from it’s stone, using a Minecraft hammer, fighting zombies, etc…In short the tool works for our needs, and if it ever breaks we will order one again. Hopefully the shipping box choice will be a bit more fitting for a tool this size. Keep reading below for what we thought.Luckily the device is tough, the handle was scared with gouges from rubbing against things as it made it’s way to us, truly battle scared but showed how sturdy it was. We pulled “Excalibur” (A.K.A Fiskars Weeder) from the cardboard box as we were ready for battle, it was in great shape, the four prongs glistened in the sunlight, and the handle showing plenty of scars from the time of history.Ergonomically the handle is designed for smaller hands and fit like a chicken egg in the palm of the hand. it could use with a larger differently shaped handle, but it will work and works well enough as it is.Absolutely easy to use, push and step on the foot pedal and tilt back, tap the tip to leave tap the small cup of dirt from the weed you pulled. and use the yellow slider in the middle of the tool to slide the weed back out of the forks. Depending on the weed type, some will need to be back filled with some soil, not much, maybe half a coffee cups worth. If you don’t back fill or tap the soil back off the root, be ready to have a lot of little holes in the lawn. While the four prongs used to poke down and pull the root out look really sturdy and seem like they would be difficult to bend, I’d recommend making sure your soil is damp. We have a adobe type clay that when it’s dry is hard as a rock, even after a light rain we still watered the weeds that we were about to use it on.It worked well for small low growing weeds. For the taller weeds we ran a mower on it’s tallest setting to remove the tall top from the weed. After that you are able to place the four prongs around the base, push down and tilt the handle back, the roots will easily pull up out of the ground. We found that straight roots about 7 to 9 inches deep. Clumps of low laying roots will have no issues as long as they are not super thick.Highly recommend this tool, makes it so much easier if you have a need for some weeding and it’s a lot easier to do this using the tool than by hand with a pitchfork or garden trowel and pully them by hand.

    Works like a charm!

Great on any weeds! I’m a 60 year old woman and have been gardening all my life. I typically sit on a small plastic step stool to hand weed, but the arthritis in my hands makes pulling weeds difficult sometimes. This tool eliminates all that. Pop it in over the weed and pull the handle back and the weed comes out with ease. The only thing I would say is use it early in the season before the long taproot weeds like dandelion and burdock get too big, otherwise you’ll just be snapping the root off. It worked wonderfully on clumps of grass in my flower beds.

    Effective but flimsy

Ok, it removes weeds effectively but not larger ones. That takes 2-3 tries. My ground is fairly sandy and has been watered regularly by Mother Nature. So this isn’t a fair evaluation. The weed release is cute and effective. I had hoped being Fiskars it would be more sturdy, heavy duty. For keeping weeds out of an established planted garden it should be fine.

Pulls out dandilions by the root!

This tool is vey effective. It gets weeds out by the roots. It’s quick and simple to use. It just arrived yesterday, and I did half my garden in 20 minutes! The only caveat I would have is for those of us who are older and/or don’t have great upper body strength. It is well-built and sturdy, but it is not a featherweight item. I felt it in my arms and back after sustained use. But still, it is certainly an improvement on hands-and-knees weeding, and I think I will become used to the movement with practice. I would absolutely recommend this gardening tool!

    Really works

Used this to pull weeds. Saved my back and knees! Was careful with the pulling back as foot piece is plastic, worked beautifully! Rest of it is well made and was easy to use.

    Great Weeding Tool

This is the best weed tool I have ever used. Really gets the root of the weed with very little effort. No bending over , just stand over the weed, place the tool in the center press down and presto the weed comes right out. Excellent for dandelions.

Wow!! Easy to use and works like magic

Easy release, grabs what it wants and chucks it out with ease. So far so good. Just got it last night and put it to use today. Looks like it’s worth the money thus far.

Fiskars 4-Claw Stand Up Weeder The solution to the root of all your problems!

I’ve owned this Fiskars 4-Claw Stand Up Weeder for a year now, must have pulled the better part of a few hundred deep rooted weeds, and it’s still going strong! It replaced my week old brand new out of the box Grandpa’s Weeder. Heartwing Sorrel and Carolina Desert-Chicory have long root systems and my yard had a lot of them. With this Fiskars, I can pull 6-8 weeds in their entirety (root and all) in the time it took me to pull just one mangled weed with half the root still in the ground with the previous weeder. I use the foot step to move the weed leaves and top roots around to find the center, poke the claws until I feel the harder center of the weed, place the center of the four claws over the center of the hard spot, gently stomp, and with GENTLE tugging motion pull the root out a little at a time TO NOT BREAK THE PLASTIC HOUSING or PLASTIC FOOT LEVER. Once out, a quick jerk of the handle, and the weed pops right out of the weeder. I haven’t found a quicker more efficient weed puller than this, and I’ve tried quite a few. I can zip through my yard and pull twenty to thirty long rooted weeds in about 15 minutes. Now, you’ve read the reviews, you know it’s comprised of plastic parts, and you’ve seen the pictures of broken plastic parts. Use it solely for garden weeds (read NOT TREE SAPLINGS), gently and incrementally tug weed out of ground, and if weed is too embedded in ground and you feel the plastic might break, it probably will. Save yourself the heartbreak, and the hassle of the LIFETIME WARRANTY replacement, move on to the next weed, and when done come back to the problem weeds with a rootslayer deep weed puller. Did I mention the lifetime warranty? If I break this, I’m absolutely replacing it with the same. The picture I attached were just a few young weeds I could find for this review. I’ve pulled weeds with roots approaching a foot long on mature weeds.

    Added to my favorite tools

I saw a YouTube post asking how to get rid of weeds. Having a lot of weeds it peaked my interest. I don’t like using chemicals and I’ve tried the diy formulas but they only work for a brief period. I’ve played down weed fabric and cardboard but the weeds grow on top of that. BUT, all of the reviews that pointed to this weed puller said that this is on old proven way that gets rid of the roots and thereby is the best way to get rid of the weeds. It only takes a little bit of manual labor but I consider it another added bit of exercise. The best thing I love about the product is the design. It’s simple, pulls the weeds out effortlessly and the slide pushes the weeds off almost every time. I would suggest using gloves in case a stubborn weed won’t come out, for occasionally pushing the weed off the puller and I suggest putting a large bag in a trash bin to put the pulled weeds in. A bag of weeds can be quite heavy but you obviously don’t want to leave them on the ground where they can regrow. I highly recommend this tool if you are in need of removing weeds.
