Great Garden Spade!
this is a wonderful garden tool…quite well constructed and very sharp. It works well digging into hard soil and digging up stubborn weeds! I think it will last a very long time.

Quality spade
This spade is made of strong metal. We were digging spring onions out of the yard and kept bending the spades we had bought at big box stores. This one did the job and did not bend an inch. High quality product that I’d recommend.

Not really carbon steel
Not really carbon steel, painted to look like it, but paint wears off quickly. nice sharpened edge, however it israther easily dulled. I had to touch it up after first use, some stones in the soil. Heavy and welded well. A bit wieldy and the handle doesn’t really fit my hand comfortably. An old style bicycle type grip with finger grooves would help. Won’t be my favorite trowel, but I am going to keep it.

Finally replaced my bendable trowel
I spent a lot of time in the garden this year. I built the whole garden out in 2023. I used this everyday. It was mostly black when I bought it and now it’s not. Since I installed all the raised beds this year along with the dirt, I didn’t have to use a trowel for seedlings. I did however, use this for insetting brick paths and a lot of pollinating flowers. I used the trowel to remove the grass before I put the raised beds in. It was perfectly sharp to get the top layer of grass and roots and still allow me to retain most of the dirt. I have a lot of bricks to inset next year still. The garden will never be complete! Garden pictures are from May 2023 and November 2023.

Super sturdy
Love the weight, feel and quality of this trowel. A little more money than some of the others but far better than any other brand I’ve tried. Very sturdy and the sharp point cuts through the dirt so easily. Wish I’d found this years ago before I threw my money away on the cheaper brands.

No nonsense tool
Awesome. I finally have a trowel I can use in the yard to dig up clumps, digging holes of any size, anywhere I want, no matter the soil, and I live on a hillside of Georgia red clay full of rocks and roots. This thing is BADASS. Its in my pocket whenever I’m in the yard. That and my bypass pruners. Yard EDC.I wish these guys made bypass pruners. Anyway this is a great product. I’m very happy. Putting it to very good use THANK YOU

Seriously the best trowel I’ve ever used
I don’t know why almost every trowel on the market has a blunt thick end. This one has a thin sharp edge that cuts into clay like a champ. I’ve had it for about a month now (it’s gotten a pretty good workout). So far it’s sturdy and doing a great job for me. Thank you to the manufacturer for not just doing what every other manufacturer does!

Practically indestructible!
This thing will not bend! I have lots of rocks in my soil (a crazy amount). This trowel is super strong and very well made. I’ve dulled the edge with all of the rocks, but I’ll sharpen it up and good to go. This is a tool I can see lasting for years!!

Narrow, but sturdy hand trowel
Good for digging through hard soil. The trowel is narrower than most, so it’s not great for moving a lot of dirt at once. But it is strong and will cut through soil well.

Now my favorite trowel
This thing kicks ass. By far the best trowel I’ve ever used. Cuts through the soil like the knife it is. It’s so much better than all of my others that I almost don’t want to garden if I can’t find it.

Very good trowel.
I gave this trowel 4 stars because I’ve only been using it a short time. It probably deserves five. I bought it because of its unusual pointed shape, which should (and does) make it very useful for digging, cutting through small roots and so on. I was doubtful about how good it would be for scooping, but it does that well too. It’s comfortable to use, sturdy and, I think, likely to be durable. Only time will tell about that. Some buyers have been worried about the way the handle is welded to the blade. But… The other day I was digging out a big plastic pot with badly compacted soil. At one point stuck the trowel in to lever up the soil, and couldn’t move it. So I put a LOT of pressure on the trowel handle, and suddenly heard a loud crack. Oh, oh. Pulled the trowel out. It was fine. The soil wouldn’t come up because I’d unknowingly wedged the tip of the trowel against the inside of the pot–the noise I heard was the pot cracking! So, although the welding looks a little sloppy, I think it’s strong.

Great Tool
I was looking for a good sturdy garden trowel – my last one bent when I was digging out a stubborn weed. This one worked great! Seems very strong – no issue getting out the weed. I’ve used it just a couple of times so I can’t really speak to the durability, but so far I’m very impressed with the quality. Would recommend.

Sharp and strong!
It is overall a good and strong tool, but I made a mistake by hammering the end of the handle to get to some deep, tough roots—the handle top is not solid and it was crushed. Probably should have looked closer at it before using the hammer, but didn’t. But otherwise, a good tool.

It needs a sheath
I purchased this trowel, but due to its sharp edges I have not used it yet. I wanted to find a leather sheath to carry it. The 3-inch width made a sheath difficult to find, most were too narrow or made of a flimsy material. I found a nice inexpensive leather sheath on Amazon that fits perfectly. It is the Wilcox All-Pro 400S All-Pro Leather Carrying Sheath.

Extremely Durable
Pleasantly surprised at the build quality of this spade. The handle is comfortable and the overall weight of the spade has some heft but is well balanced. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking to replace a small hand shovel…it’s a few dollars more but the extra expense is worth every penny to avoid an aluminum handle that will bend on you.

Super sharp
I bought this without paying attention to just how sharp it is. I just wanted a hand garden shovel and liked the pointed edge but this guy is SHARP! I’d have to be super careful digging so I didn’t accidentially injure myself and who has time for that when gardening! Might work well for others but I don’t trust myself with it so I returned.

Very sharp
I assumed that all tools like this would be the same with the exception that some are sturdier and some don’t rust. I didn’t realize just how handy it sharp would be. It cuts through thick landscape material and thin roots. Saves time having to pull out other tools to deal with them. Love it.

I have had zero problems with this tool. It is strong enough to go through solid tree roots and dense hardened clay. The grip is good enough that my hands even while wet don’t slip off the handle.

Quality doesn’t ring like a bell..
I tired multiple times to make a video or take a picture of this product but amazon says no.. this hand shovel rings like a bell.. there’s something large in the handle that cannot be removed.. it’s super loud.. I’d show you but Amazon won’t let me upload anything

A great tool to have on hand
I had just about given up on finding one of these that would hold up as the others I have bought are not sturdy at all, even for simple digging in the flower bed. This one gets an A+ – it held up all season this year and is still the same as when I first received it. Would definitely recommend!!
