Pulls the root out every time!!!
This little tool almost makes weeding fun! Perfect leverage and sturdy. The handle isn’t too long…. so you will need to bend over or sit to use if your garden/ flower bed is not raised.I have some nasty weeds…. and it gets them out… root and all…. every time! The only place I’ve had trouble was a few in the cracks of the sidewalk.Im very happy with my purchase… some gardening friends may be getting one as a gift!

Pleasantly surprised
I didn’t have any expectations but was pleasantly surprised how well itpulled up the weeds. Some weeds were easier than others but past attemptsusing a hoe or other tool was always met with minimal success. The handle could be a little longer, so I wouldn’t have to stoop over so much at my old age.I wish I would have found this little tool sooner it’s a keeper for sure.

Better weeding action in soil not too damp.
I tried this tool the day after a good rain. It did not give me great results.I used it again two days later with good results. This tool does not seem verywell made, so I hope for it to last well. Fingers crossed!

Somewhat helpful
Can be helpful at times when it grabs it well at the base. Doesn’t always get the weeds up first time. Sometimes the weeds just lay down and slide through the teeth, not sure if it’s because so many weeds are clustered together and it was hard to get the base or just some weeds aren’t as thorny and others are slick and slide through so you have to try it a few times.

Angle of puller doesn’t work for many areas.
In the right circumstances these work well. But for weeds with deeper roots or dense clusters the tool isn’t able to get a good enough grip to pull plant out. The price is right to keep it and use where appropriate. A longer handle would also help.

Welds broke pretty quickly, like within an hour

I bought this product despite the reviews about the angle. With a short handle, the tool is supposed to be used lower in the soil, so that makes the angle look very closed, but works perfectly if you are crouch or on your knees. Works better on short weeds than the large ones. Glad I bought it

Mini rake
Great little gadget for many weeds especially shallow rooted, spread out types of annoying unwanted plants. Great for reaching under shrubs. Doesn’t work as well for dandelions so I use a different tool for those.

Not for all weeds, but works fast for not too deep ones.
I ordered a pair and really like them for gardening! They work very fast on not too deep roots. Are sturdy enough for me (got the black coated ones) so far and make faster work of certain types of weeding. The only improvement I can think of would be to make a standing version- long pole.

Rooms for improvement
There are rooms for improvement. The original design didn’t provide a hammer action (90 degree) dued to the acute andgle of the teeth (~45 degree). The modified version (shown in the picture) provides much deeper depth into the ground. In this form, the device can provide (a) hammer action (90 degree), (b) pulling action (0 degree), and (c) lifting/crowbarring (+90/-90 degree).

Makes weeding easier
Some of my garden beds were overgrown with weeds. With this tool I cleaned them all up in a hurry. It is convenient because it not only uproots the weeds but it pulls them up out of the ground. Then a few large weeds remain that you can easily pull out by hand. I have some other tools that can be used for weeding but this is much more convenient.

This saved me hundreds of dollars
One thing I don’t do is yardwork. I hired a service to mow my lawn, and when the weeds in my flower beds need pulling, I add the weeding service with the click of a button. An ad for this tool came across my FB timeline so I decided to give it a shot. One day, I was feeling a little motivated so I decided to take it outside and put it to work. It made weeding a breeze! It is sturdy, too. Some of the weeds had roots that grew so deep, I had to put my whole body into pulling it. This tool did not bend or break. I love this thing!

Great for bind weed
I only received one tool, instead of two, and it took a long time to arrive from Hong Kong, but it works so well that I’m not complaining. In fact, I just ordered another one, and the price is $2 less. This tool is great for pulling bindweed from between plants in the garden rows. Bindweed grows and spreads very fast, but this tool lets me keep it under control.

Took a beating
Omg. For roughly $4 each …. These suckers tore my yard UPPPP lol you can see the pics. I had this tall dead weed-choked strip around the pool… hacked and slashed with these things , took me a week to clear it and I only used these and my gloves. One prong bent a little bit , probably cuz I hit it on the rocks so hard but. Lol $8 never worked so hard in its LIFE. One of my best purchases for sure

SOMETIMES Grabs weed with root
I tried out this tool & the first weed came out with root but had to remove it from the tool’s teeth as it wouldn’t come off. The next 2 weeds were broken off from the root & only above ground leaves/stems were pulled. Some of the weeds weren’t pulled at all. The shallow angle of the puller part with teeth should be adjusted wider. The handle ISNT long enough to not have to bend over a lot. With the puller part angle the way it IS, you have to really get down to get it to align with the ground. So I think that if it was at a wider angle WITH a longer handle, it would be a really effective tool. Disappointed because I thought it would be a great helper. Therefore, bottom line is I DONT recommend this so-called weed ‘tool’ at all. It would cost more to return it than it’s worth.

Great for weeding and breaking up soil
I was in need of a new weeding tool and gave these guys a shot. They work great in removing weeds, grasses, vines and breaking up old mulch and dirt. I have not had any issues with durability.The only downside is to make sure it is not under you when moving to the next area. Ouch!

Work well!
I have a garden that gets patches of grass, if you don’t get the roots, it grows right back. This tool works well for digging up the weeds and grass patches. The only negative is the angle of the handle, I wish it wasn’t quite so angled down, it makes it harder to get at some of the weeds when plants are present.

Yes, as some have said it is small
It is too short for my 80 year old body. But since the handle end is an open pipe, I added a 14″ long wood handle and screwed that down with two screws. It is more comfortable now.The head could be a little larger. Also the head’s angle could be a little more toward 90° to the shaft / handle. I may heat it and bend it in the future after I have given it a fair trial in usesge.
